Driver Terms & Conditions

These Driver Terms govern access and use of the Hammeli platform by independent transport drivers. By registering and accepting orders, you agree to comply with all operational, safety and compliance rules defined by the platform.
1. Independent Driver Status
Drivers operate as independent service providers and not employees of Hammeli. Drivers are responsible for their own taxes, vehicle compliance, insurance and legal obligations under Lebanese law.
2. Driver Eligibility
- Minimum age: 18+
- Valid truck driving license
- Registered vehicle matching selected category
- Vehicle registration documents
- Mandatory insurance (if applicable)
- Clear criminal record (when required)
- Identity verification
Submitting incorrect vehicle type or mismatched documents may result in rejection or account suspension.
3. Vehicle Compliance
Drivers must operate vehicles that match the category selected in the platform. Misrepresentation of vehicle type or condition may result in removal from the system.
4. Tracking During Active Orders
During any active shipment, drivers must keep the phone powered on, connected to the internet and with GPS enabled for tracking purposes.
Intentionally disabling the phone, GPS or connectivity during an active order is considered a serious violation and may lead to:
- Warning
- Temporary suspension
- Permanent account ban
5. Order Acceptance Rules
- Drivers must not cancel confirmed orders repeatedly.
- Repeated cancellations (e.g. 3 times) may trigger suspension.
- Drivers must arrive on time for pickups.
- Professional conduct is required at all times.
6. Pricing & Payments
Pricing is defined through the platform system. Drivers are not permitted to increase prices outside the displayed order value.
Customers pay drivers directly according to the order terms. Drivers may owe platform-related amounts or commission settlements as defined in their earnings section.

- Price manipulation or overcharging
- Fraud or false information
- Sharing customer data externally
- Theft, misconduct or illegal activity
- Operating under false identity
Serious violations may result in permanent removal and possible legal reporting where required by law.
8. Responsibility & Liability
Drivers are responsible for their actions during transport. Hammeli operates as a coordination platform and is not liable for driver conduct except where required by law.

Hammeli may suspend or permanently remove driver accounts for policy violations, safety risks, repeated complaints or legal issues.
10. Account Deletion
Drivers may request account deletion through the app. Accounts enter a 14-day soft deletion period before permanent removal.

Hammeli may update these terms when operational or regulatory changes occur. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance.
