Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access and use of the Hammeli platform (“Hammeli”, “Platform”, “we”, “our”). The platform connects customers, transport companies and independent drivers for logistics coordination across Lebanon.

By using the platform website or mobile application, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. Platform Role

Hammeli operates as a digital coordination platform connecting users with independent drivers or transport companies. Hammeli does not act as a carrier unless explicitly stated in writing.

2. Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into agreements to use the platform.

3. Accounts

• Users must provide accurate information.
• You are responsible for your account and device access.
• We may suspend accounts for misuse or policy violations.

4. Requests & Scheduling

• Users can request transport and choose vehicle type.
• Requests may be immediate or scheduled.
• Orders are confirmed only when accepted by a driver/company.
• Accurate shipment details must be provided.

5. Tracking & Operational Monitoring

During active shipments, tracking systems may be used to monitor delivery progress and ensure operational integrity.

Drivers must keep tracking enabled during active orders. Intentional disruption of tracking may lead to account action including suspension or permanent removal.

6. Pricing & Payments

Pricing is calculated based on shipment details such as distance, vehicle category and route conditions.

Customers pay drivers directly unless otherwise specified. Platform commissions or settlements may apply separately.

Drivers are not permitted to increase prices beyond platform-defined amounts for confirmed orders.

7. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate shipment information.
• Do not request illegal or prohibited transport.
• Prepare goods appropriately for transport.
• Follow applicable Lebanese laws.

8. Driver Conduct

Drivers operate as independent providers responsible for vehicle condition, documents and legal compliance. Additional rules apply under the Driver Terms.

9. Cancellations & Misuse

Repeated cancellations, false requests or misuse of the platform may result in temporary suspension or permanent account removal.

10. Liability

Hammeli acts as a coordination platform. Responsibility for goods and transport remains with the driver and customer except where required by law.

11. Account Deletion

Users may request account deletion through the app. Accounts enter a 14-day soft deletion period before permanent removal.

12. Platform Availability

We may modify, suspend or discontinue platform features at any time without notice.

13. Intellectual Property

All platform content, branding and software are owned by Hammeli and may not be copied or reused without permission.

14. Changes to Terms

Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
